Palaniswami chairs AIADMK district secretaries’ meeting in Chennai

AIADMK chief Edappadi K. Palaniswami convened a gathering of the party's district secretaries at their Chennai headquarters on Sunday. Prominent party members, including Tamil Magan Hussain, K.P. Munusamy, and Dindigul C. Sreenivasan, attended the meeting. Former Minister D. Jayakumar and several others also participated.

When queried about Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay's anticipated speech in the upcoming Assembly session, AIADMK official and former Minister Sellur K. Raju stated that the Chief Minister would appear having completed a rehearsal. "He [Mr. Vijay] will come after doing a rehearsal," Raju remarked. "He will come as if he is coming for a [film] shooting. He will memorise and deliver punchlines, but the people are worried about the rising prices of essential commodities, be it onions, oil, or rice."
