The Al-Mithnab date season, in conjunction with the Sukkariyat Al-Mithnab Al-Hamra festival, is currently experiencing lively marketing efforts that highlight the variety of agricultural output in Al-Mithnab governorate. The event displays over 70 distinct types of local dates, elevating the visibility of local products in the marketplace.

The seasonal date market, located at the central fruit and date market, gathers producers, marketers, and buyers together. The event is orchestrated and managed by the local office of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, which assists in facilitating sales, auctions, and overall market efficiency. Tamim Al-Aboudi, the director of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture office in Al-Mithnab, explained that the office persists in its organizational and regulatory role, monitoring the flow of dates into the market, ensuring adherence to regulations, and maintaining product quality.

Al-Aboudi stressed that these endeavors aid farmers and marketers, create a well-organized marketing environment for visitors, and contribute to reinforcing the standing of local products.
