Richarlison, the Brazilian forward, is in a race against time to find a new club after his move from Tottenham to Trabzonspor failed to materialize before the Turkish transfer window closed. Coach Roberto De Zerbi confirmed that the player requested to leave Tottenham. Currently, his options are dwindling, particularly following his omission from the Tottenham squad for the Premier League.

Everton showed interest but failed to secure a deal before the deadline. Trabzonspor was another potential destination, but the transfer did not complete before the market closed on Friday. The transfer windows for Scotland, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Major League Soccer in the United States are also shut. With few avenues left in Europe, Richarlison now has a few possibilities: Saudi Arabia, Portugal, Brazil, Mexico, or returning to Vasco.

Saudi Arabia appears to be the most probable destination, as the Saudi Pro League window remains open until October 12. Portuguese clubs can register new players until September 15, while Brazil and Mexico have their windows closing on September 11. The 29-year-old striker, a fan of Vasco and a former Fluminense academy product, has expressed his support for both clubs, though he never concealed his affection for Fluminense, where he first gained national recognition.

The possible termination of his contract with Tottenham could enable Richarlison to sign with any team for free. Despite the ongoing uncertainty, the Brazilian player released a statement affirming his commitment to the club.
