Notre Dame football will kick off the 2026 season with a strong attitude after being overlooked for last year's College Football Playoff. The Irish, led by Marcus Freeman, will face a challenging schedule due to their independent status. Notably, they will not face USC for the first time since 1925, excluding the COVID-19 pandemic and World War II.

Miami faces the Fighting Irish on November 14 at 3:30 PM ET on NBC, and Boston College on November 21, with the time and channel yet to be announced. SMU rounds out the season on November 28, with the specifics on TV and time pending.
