Netanyahu vows to topple Iranian regime, warns Tehran against attack

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reiterated Israel's resolve to overthrow Iran's regime and cautioned Tehran against launching an attack. Speaking at a cabinet meeting on the Jewish New Year, Netanyahu emphasized that eliminating the Iranian regime is a top priority for Israel. He warned Tehran that an attack would result in an "unimaginable" response.

The Prime Minister described Iran's regime as "weak, fighting for its survival and floundering," noting that it is on the brink of collapse. Netanyahu stated that Israel has one more mission to accomplish, which is to bring down the Iranian regime. His comments follow his earlier claims that toppling the Iranian regime is "within reach," as the country is weaker now than ever, particularly after the war that erupted on February 28 involving Tehran, Washington, and Tel Aviv.

On Wednesday, Netanyahu reiterated his threat, saying that Israel would successfully bring down the Iranian regime, and all its agencies are working towards this goal. He added that Iran should be aware that attacking Israel would be one of its last decisions.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz had warned two days prior that Israel would target Iran's civilian infrastructure and energy sector in response to any attack from Tehran. This follows a recent surge in tensions between Washington and Tehran. The Israeli military conducted a surprise General Staff-level drill on Sunday morning to assess its readiness for a sudden multi-front scenario.
