KP CM determined to hold Karachi rally as PTI convoy reaches Hyderabad

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi arrived in Hyderabad on Sunday, vowing to proceed with his planned rally in Karachi despite the alleged obstacles in his convoy's journey. The KP CM, along with PTI's provincial President Junaid Akbar, has been campaigning in Sindh for the party's September 27 nationwide protest demanding the release of party founder Imran Khan and his immediate medical treatment at Islamabad's Shifa International Hospital.

PTI confirmed that the central leadership's convoy, led by CM Afridi, had entered Hyderabad. Afridi had addressed PTI workers in Tando Allahyar earlier, thanking PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari for welcoming him to Sindh on social media but alleging hurdles were being created for his convoy. Containers were being placed and craters dug, Afridi claimed, questioning whether these actions were carried out by the PPP government or someone else.

The PTI leader appealed to party supporters and workers to join the planned September 27 rallies across the country. Afridi thanked supporters from Umerkot for their support and asked the people of Hyderabad to prepare for the PTI caravan, stating that they would be in Karachi by the evening. PTI Sindh President Haleem Adil Sheikh shared a video of a truck placed to block the convoy in Tando Allahyar.

The PTI condemned the alleged blocking of its rally and claimed that its party workers in multiple Sindh cities had been arrested, accusing the Sindh government of blatant political hypocrisy and fear.
