Fatima Sana’s fiery Shafali send-off draws savage response: ‘Your team scored 55’

During Pakistan's Women's Asia Cup match against India at the Dubai International Stadium, captain Fatima Sana became the center of attention for her fiery send-off of India opener Shafali Verma after the latter was dismissed. Sana, who took three wickets in the innings, dismissed Verma on the third ball of India's chase, catching her delicately.

However, Verma showed no reaction to Sana's celebration, simply walking back to the dressing room after scoring 12 off six deliveries. Commentator Vivek Razdan pointed out the stark difference between the two teams, noting that India's batting collapse had resulted in Pakistan scoring just 55 runs. Pakistan's collapse began after India switched to spin, with youngsters Shree Charani, Prema Rawat, and Deepti Sharma dismantling the Pakistani middle order.

Charani and Rawat each took three wickets in their overs, while Deepti contributed 2/5. Pakistan eventually succumbed to a lowly total of 55 in 18.1 overs, their lowest-ever T20I score. India, meanwhile, bowled relentlessly, delivering 78 dot balls and sealing the victory with a seven-wicket win. Harmanpreet Kaur and Deepti Sharma helped guide India to the target in just 8.4 overs, giving the Indian captain the distinction of leading India in 150 T20Is.
