President Lee Jae Myung's Cabinet reshuffle has been a failure, despite his initial intentions to create an inclusive government. The new minister nominees have faced scrutiny and pressure to resign. Two nominees, Kim Seung-won and Yong Hye-in, are under investigation for alleged abuse of power and violating anti-graft laws. Kim, a ruling party legislator, is accused of lobbying a food and drug safety administrator for a biotech startup's clinical trial request.

Yong, from the Basic Income Party, is criticized for refusing to give up her parliamentary seat if appointed to the Cabinet. Other nominees, like Lee Hye-hoon and Lee Jae Hoon, have been withdrawn due to scandal allegations. The president's open-door policy has led some self-serving politicians to take advantage of it. Although Lee's intentions are commendable, the screening process has flaws, and some chosen candidates have quit or failed to provide constructive criticism.

The administration's intolerance towards dissenting voices undermines the success of an inclusive Cabinet.
