Draymond Green on Clippers investigation: 'Why is there a salary cap?'

In the latest episode of a podcast that continues to dominate NBA headlines, Draymond Green shifted the focus from Kawhi Leonard to the league’s salary cap, questioning its purpose and implications. "I think that’s what comes out of this," Green stated. "Why is there a salary cap? Why are guys being prevented from making money from team sponsors or league sponsors, or whoever else?"

Green posed the question, highlighting the league's purported player-centric, player-focused, and player-driven approach, which supposedly prioritizes players' best interests. However, Green seemed to be at odds with the punishment handed down to Leonard, expressing his happiness that "Kawhi didn’t get the bulk of this punishment."
