Congress goes to town challenging KCR to attend Assembly for debate on govt. policies

Senior Congress leaders have called upon former Chief Minister and BRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao to attend the Assembly and assume the role of a responsible Opposition leader, rather than disseminating false information on social media. The party organized a protest at Indira Park on Sunday, demanding his resignation for not attending the Assembly.

TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud stated that people's wishes were taken into account, and the government is prepared to consider KCR's suggestions and address any wrong decisions if necessary. Goud highlighted the fact that the Congress government has attracted ₹1.78 lakh crore in foreign investments in just two years and promised further job creation in the remaining two-and-a-half years.

He also mentioned the caste survey, which is being regarded as a model for the nation. IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu emphasized that KCR should attend the Assembly, and the government is ready to respond to any issues raised there. Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar reported that over 72,000 jobs have been filled and welfare allocations for various social groups have been strengthened.

Former MP Madhu Yaskhi Goud and MPs Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy and Mallu Ravi also criticized the BRS leadership, urging Mr. Rao to participate in a debate instead of avoiding his responsibilities. The dharna, led by government adviser V. Hanumantha Rao, was attended by several government ministers, MPs, and MLAs.
