Chelsea roster for 2026-27 Premier League season

Chelsea commenced preparations for the upcoming 2026-27 Premier League season, aiming to rebuild upon their disappointing 10th-place finish in the previous campaign. Under the guidance of new coach Xabi Alonso, the Blues unveiled their squad for the new campaign.

In goal, Emiliano Martinez, the Argentine stopper, sits atop the pecking order, backed by youngsters Teddy Sharman-Lowe and Mike Penders. Belgium's Gabriel Slonina and USA's Gabriel Slonina add depth to the ranks.

Chelsea will field a robust defense, with Marco Palestra leading the charge from Italy, supported by French talents Wesley Fofana, Maxence Lacroix, and Pep Chavarría. Belgian Reece James and England's Malo Gusto and Aaron Anselmino provide further defensive solidity.

Midfield control is expected to be provided by Argentine Valentín Barco, alongside Englishman Cole Palmer and Jordan Henderson, who returns from previous seasons. Morgan Rogers, Geovany Quenda, and Moisés Caicedo bring creativity and pace to the engine room, while England's Reggie Watson and Mahdi Nicoll-Jazuli offer experience.

Up front, Pedro Neto leads the attack from Portugal, joined by Brazil's João Pedro, Jamie Gittens, and Danny Welbeck. Netherlands' Emmanuel Emegha and Belgian Estêvão add further firepower, while young talent Estêvão completes the front three.
