CDA Officers’ Children Get 50% Discount on Monthly School Fees

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) Officers Association and the Global System of Integrated Studies (GSIS) have entered into a new agreement to provide significant fee concessions for the children of CDA employees, reported the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP). This memorandum of understanding (MoU) aims to alleviate the financial burden on CDA employees and their families by waiving admission fees and security deposits, offering a 50% discount on monthly tuition fees, and providing priority admission and waiting list status.

Children of regular CDA employees will also have equal access to GSIS's academic facilities, extracurricular activities, and student development programs, all on par with regular fee-paying students. Chaudhary Kamran Bakht, General Secretary of the CDA Officers Association, emphasized that the agreement will help reduce the financial strain on employees, while CDA Member Estate Muhammad Zaman Watto described it as a crucial welfare measure.

GSIS Principal and Director Administration Quratulain Ali Rizvi pledged to ensure the effective implementation of the agreement.
