AJJAKS Tussle In Bhopal: Rival Factions Face Off Over Control Of Headquarters

Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh - The rivalry between two factions of the Anusuchit Jati-Janjati Adhikari Evam Karmchari Sangh (AJJAKS) resulted in a confrontation over control of the organization's headquarters, according to reports. The dispute erupted on Sunday when the two factions clashed at the AJJAKS Bhavan in Tulsi Nagar. One group recognizes Mukesh Maurya as the legitimate state president, a claim supported by official records and the state government.

The other group maintains that Santosh Verma was unanimously elected as the new president following JN Kansotia's resignation. Maurya's faction accused Verma of unauthorized use of the organization's banner and attempting to forcibly take control of the headquarters. Maurya told a news outlet, "Verma cannot be the president as he was appointed by retired officer Kansotia, who has no authority since AJJAKS is an organization of officers and employees." Police barricaded the area surrounding the AJJAKS headquarters to prevent further violence.
