After meeting Bihar youth, Rahul slams PM Modi, Samrat Choudhary

On Sunday, Congress spokesman Rahul Gandhi criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bihar Chief Minister Choudhary over police's violent response to student protests in the state. Gandhi questioned whether their physically injured students could ever have their dreams restored. He shared a video of his meeting with Bihari students who were brutally beaten by the police for demanding reforms in the examination system.

In his post, Rahul asked, "What sin had these children committed that they were shot with bullets?" The only things they asked for were education, employment, and accountability. Gandhi pointed out a violent clash in Patna last month where job seekers marched to Choudhary's residence demanding a single-tier teacher job exam and a transparent recruitment process.

He also highlighted student protests in Maharashtra, saying thousands of peaceful protesters are demanding justice, not just for a single exam or recruitment process, but because the entire system has been broken. Gandhi urged the government to listen to their voices immediately or the public outrage, he warned, will only grow louder until justice is served.

This comes after Maharashtra's top officials formed a panel to review the state's recruitment examination system and propose measures to make it more transparent, secure, and candidate-friendly.
