VIDEO: Can you go back to where you worked before?, IG Disu asks during Ogun station visit

Inspector-General of Police Olatunji Disu recently visited the Ago-Iwoye Police Division in Ogun State, where he once served as a Divisional Police Officer. The visit was shared by the Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Ani Iniedu, on X, accompanied by a video of Disu touring the station. Disu, who dropped a thought-provoking question during the visit, asked: "Can you visit where you worked before?"

In the video, Disu reflected on his time at the station as a DPO, describing it as an emotional experience. He recalled that it was where he first developed his leadership skills, having never held the position before his posting. Disu emphasized that the journey of a thousand miles begins at Ago-Iwoye, highlighting the significance of starting one's career at one's first police station.

During his tour, Disu visited his former office, walked his old farm, and stepped through the same residence where young officers once dreamed of greatness. He also interacted with local residents, mentioning an old woman who sold items near the police station and a retired goat-rearer named Baba Aladji. Disu concluded by urging everyone to do well in their work, echoing the question he posed during his visit to Ago-Iwoye.
