Negotiations: Ukraine War: Putin and US Envoy Talks Ended
Kremlin chief Putin praises US President Trump's efforts to end the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine. He speaks with US envoys Witkoff and Kushner in Moscow for almost three hours.
Moscow hosted a short-notice meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner regarding the Ukraine conflict. The approximately three-hour talks ended with Kushner and Witkoff leaving the Kremlin, but no results were announced. The envoys will travel to Kyiv, where they will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Sunday, after Putin ordered a three-day ceasefire in the city to ensure their safe visit.
Putin's spokesperson, Dmitri Peskow, said the US envoys brought new proposals, but did not provide details.
