Yagiz Kaan Erdogmus, a 15-year-old chess prodigy, has made history by becoming the youngest player to achieve a rating of 2700 and 2600. He has been in the world's top 100, top 50, and top 20 multiple times. Erdogmus, currently World No. 26 with a rating of 2716, hopes to see Turkey rise in chess popularity.
