TGTDC reviews tourism infrastructure projects

On September 4, 2026, the Telangana Tourism Development Corporation (TGTDC) Managing Director, P. Gouthami, conducted a review of ongoing tourism infrastructure projects at significant destinations in the state. The review encompassed progress reports on various aspects of the projects, such as visitor amenities, accommodation, landscaping, electrical and civil works, and other tourism development activities.

Gouthami emphasized the importance of timely completion and strict adherence to approved specifications and timelines. She directed the Engineering Wing to monitor all major works diligently and submit periodic updates on their progress. The focus was on enhancing the overall visitor experience and bolstering Telangana's tourism infrastructure by delivering safe, aesthetically appealing, and visitor-friendly facilities that promote sustainable tourism and contribute to local economic development.

Additionally, the TGTDC reviewed the status of works at Haritha Hotels and other properties under its management, instructing officials to conduct regular inspections and maintain close coordination with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure timely project completion.
