Shape generations of students with scientific outlook, 'nation first' spirit: President to teachers

On Teachers' Day, President Droupadi Murmu urged educators to mold future generations of students with a scientific mindset and a strong sense of national pride. In her article "Shaping Minds; Building the Future," she emphasized that teachers have a sacred duty to guide students into becoming ethical individuals who prioritize the well-being of humanity and the environment.

Murmu highlighted that a successful teacher shapes students who excel in their pursuits while adhering to moral principles. She stressed that the nation is progressing towards development with a focus on social inclusion. In this journey, she called upon teachers to instill in students a deep appreciation for India's cultural heritage, a scientific perspective, and a commitment to the ideals of Antyodaya, environmental protection, and collective excellence.

The President emphasized that a teacher's attitude should be one of encouragement and support, never causing fear or self-doubt in students. She encouraged independent thinking, curiosity, and the ability to question and analyze. Murmu believed that education that fosters such qualities will produce entrepreneurs, scientists, artists, and citizens capable of tackling future challenges.
