Seyi Tinubu gets Christian youth peace ambassador award

Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Tinubu, has been named a Christian Youth Peace Ambassador by the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria. This prestigious honor was bestowed upon him during the National Christian Youth Security Summit and Thanksgiving in Abuja, where the youth wing emphasized his contributions to peace, youth development, and national unity.

Although Seyi Tinubu was unable to attend the event, his recognition was conveyed by former National Chairman/President of YOWICAN, Belusochukwu Enwere, on his behalf.

In his message of appreciation, Seyi Tinubu expressed his understanding of the responsibility that comes with the title, promising to support initiatives aimed at empowering young Nigerians, fostering peaceful coexistence, and promoting national unity. He further clarified that peace encompasses more than the mere absence of conflict, requiring justice, compassion, tolerance, and mutual respect.

Seyi Tinubu also lauded YOWICAN for its efforts to encourage Christian youths to assume responsible leadership roles and contribute to their communities' development. He encouraged young Nigerians to view the country's religious, ethnic, and cultural diversity as a valuable asset rather than a source of division. Lastly, he pledged his support for programs focused on youth empowerment and peaceful coexistence throughout Nigeria, stating, "Together, let us choose peace, promote love, and build a Nigeria where every young person can dream, contribute, and prosper."
