Thursday, Sept. 3 - Clay Panthers' boys soccer team dominated Western Indians with a 10-1 victory. Evan Rider and Coleton Fannin scored hat tricks, collecting six goals, an assist, and 13 points. Brady Hadsell and Jackson Hannan also scored goals, while Colby Secrist played in the field and recorded nine saves. The team will face New Boston Glenwood on Tuesday evening in Rosemount.

Thursday, Sept. 3 - Minford girls soccer team defeated Valley Indians 5-0 in a match held at Valley High School. Five different players scored goals for Minford, including Marley Rhodes, Jasmine Dixon, McKenna Hay, Sadie Tieman, and Laney Mullins. The Lady Falcons took a 1-0 halftime lead and added two more goals in the second half, finishing with 17 shots on goal.

Wednesday, Sept. 2 - South Webster girls volleyball team defeated Chesapeake Panthers 3-1. Ava Claxon led the team with 22 kills, 19 digs, and six aces in the match. Freshman Lucy Montgomery and sophomore Emma Campbell also had double-double performances. South Webster advanced to 4-1 on the year, while Chesapeake dropped to 1-3.

Thursday, Sept. 2 - Notre Dame High School's volleyball team defeated South Gallia 3-0 in a nonconference match held at Notre Dame High School. Jaysa Bryant and Sophie Phillips led the team with 29 and 13 kills, respectively. Ryan Purcell contributed 21 assists while Rudy Webb had 11. Notre Dame moved to 4-1 on the year.

Thursday, Sept. 1 - New Boston Glenwood Tigers' boys soccer team won a 3-0 shutout over Western Pike in a match held in Latham. Cody Trapp and Tyler McQuithy scored in the first half, while Xavier Mathes scored a breakaway goal in the second half. Ashton Nolan recorded his second shutout of the season with eight saves in goal.
