President Mahama is a professional comedian – DKB

Ghanaian comedian DKB recounted a humorous encounter with former President John Dramani Mahama during his SoHo Comedy Night, which also served as his birthday celebration. DKB had previously led a demonstration against Mahama's government in May 2015 but later found himself performing for him in October of the same year. Initially nervous due to his role in the demonstration, DKB was surprised when Mahama recognized him and made a joke about his name.

Mahama remarked, "Ei DKB, you know your name erh, when you remove the B and make it M, it becomes DKM and they will chase you for their money." DKB was impressed by Mahama's sense of humor, noting that the encounter left him with goosebumps. The comedian praised Mahama's ability to joke with him despite their political opposition, describing the encounter as particularly memorable. DKB has previously expressed positive views about Mahama and his appreciation for comedy.
