Pemuda PKR bidas PAS jadi ‘jurucakap’ Umno

Pemuda PKR has chosen to endorse Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man as a replacement for PAS' Presidential candidate, Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man, to ensure that Umno's influence remains a key factor in the party's decision-making process. This move comes as PAS feels they have surpassed Umno in stature and can now speak on behalf of Umno, according to Pemuda PKR's Head of Public Relations, Danish Hairudin.

In a recent statement, Danish emphasized that PAS and Umno should not view themselves as the "big brother" or "little brother" in their discussions and that all parties must be treated equally. However, PAS' approach seems to be dependent on the season, as they sometimes act as the "big brother" and at other times as the "little brother" depending on the situation.

Earlier this month, Tuan Ibrahim warned that any cooperation formula between PN and Barisan Nasional (BN) for the PRN Melaka should be based on equality and not focused solely on the distribution of parliamentary seats. He reiterated that no one should be considered as the "big brother" or "little brother." Just yesterday, Tuan Ibrahim reiterated that PKR should not give any assurances to Umno regarding its preference for remaining in the unity government or shifting support to PN, as PKR itself relies heavily on Umno's strength.
