Olympian Simone Biles spotted wearing Cleveland Sirens gear

Olympic gymnast Simone Biles showcased her Ohio pride during a gym session, wearing gear from the Cleveland Sirens, the city's new professional basketball team. In a TikTok video, Biles donned a blue Sirens hat while practicing flips and tricks on a trampoline. She ended the video, saying, "Whew! Whew! I'm done. I feel like I just, feel like I just competed a floor routine, I can't breathe, so I'm leaving."

The Sirens' official account acknowledged Biles' nod to their team, and several fans on Threads also recognized and supported her gesture. Biles, 29, has not publicly committed to competing in the 2028 Summer Olympics, which would mark her as the oldest gymnast to do so at age 31. If she chooses to participate, it would be her 11th Olympic medal, making her the most decorated American gymnast in history.

Biles, born in Columbus, Ohio, in 1997, moved to Spring, Texas, in her early years. She married NFL player Jonathan Owens in April 2023. The Cleveland Sirens, named after Greek mythology, were announced recently and aim to represent a powerful, younger audience with their lake-inspired colors and design. The team is set to begin playing in 2028.
