Nnadi opts against surgery for speedy return

Marseille midfielder Tochukwu Nnadi has chosen not to undergo surgery on his knee, in an attempt to expedite his return from injury. The Nigerian international suffered the injury during a second-half substitute appearance in Marseille's match against Monaco. Following his exit from the stadium, the medical staff evaluated Nnadi and initially recommended immediate surgery to address the issue.

However, the midfielder opted for a more conservative approach, aiming to reduce his recovery duration and return to play sooner. His agent, Timur Daguev, revealed that the decision was reached after several days of consultations with doctors, the club, and Nnadi's team. The agent explained that while surgery was the safest option, it also meant a prolonged absence from the field and the team.

Despite this setback, Nnadi remains committed to supporting his teammates during this challenging time. He expressed his determination to contribute to the team's efforts, as the coach had previously trusted and supported him. Nnadi will now concentrate on his recovery program, hoping that the conservative treatment will enable him to regain full fitness without a lengthy injury setback.
