Comparing Washington's potential contract to Michael Wilson's recent three-year, $75 million deal with the Cardinals, Fowler highlighted that Washington could earn around $25 million per year. Washington's performance in 2025 was noteworthy, as he consistently surpassed 100 receiving yards in three of the team's final four games and was targeted over nine times per game, including in the postseason.

His diverse skill set, including versatility in route running and ability to make contested catches, was a significant asset to the Jaguars' offense.
