Minister lays stone for reconstruction of ancient temple in Nellore

State Endowments Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy inaugurated the foundation stone for the reconstruction of the ancient Sri Kondandarama Swami temple in DC Palle village, located in Nellore district's SPSR region. During the event, the minister unveiled plans to rebuild 800 temples across the state, with an estimated budget of ₹1,100 crore.

Reddy reaffirmed his commitment to finishing the Anam Sanjeeva Reddy (ASR) Somasila High Level Canal, which would provide water to the distant Marripadu mandal in Nellore district. He lamented the long period of underdevelopment in the mandal and emphasized the new government's dedication to bringing progress to backward areas of the State.

The ASR Somasila High Level Canal is set to be completed entirely, he stated, and will soon become a reality. Reddy mentioned his previous role as a Cabinet Minister in the united Andhra Pradesh government, where he secured approval for the project which has progressed to 68%. He criticized the previous administration for neglecting the canal by allowing it to be postponed till 2024.
