Man strangles wife’s male friend, dumps body in sump in Kolar

A 36-year-old employee was booked by the Malur police for allegedly strangling his wife's male friend, Venkatesh, due to an alleged extramarital affair. The incident took place near Chikka Tirupati in Malur taluk of Kolar district on Sunday. The victim's body was found in a water sump and sealed after he went missing. Suresh, the accused, and his friend Santosh were arrested.

Police sources revealed that Venkatesh had been in a relationship with Suresh's wife, and despite warnings from Suresh, the duo continued their actions. They consumed alcohol together before the attack.
