Kaminski throws 5 TD passes in North Dakota’s 62-26 win over St. Thomas

Jerry Kaminski showcased a stellar performance in North Dakota's dominant 62-26 triumph over St. Thomas on Saturday. The quarterback orchestrated a spectacular offensive display, connecting on five touchdown passes during the game. Kaminski completed 23 of his 29 passes for 233 yards, propelling North Dakota to a commanding 41-12 halftime lead.

Supporting Kaminski were Deng Deng and Korey Tai, who combined for 10 receptions for 143 yards and three touchdowns. Sam Strandell and Mason South also contributed touchdown catches for the Fighting Hawks. Charles Langama added a 15-yard touchdown run, while Griffin Broderick and Javance Tupou’ata-Johnson scored on rushing plays.

Avery Dixon played a pivotal role in North Dakota's early dominance, intercepting a pass and returning it 34 yards for a touchdown during the opening half. The Fighting Hawks, currently ranked eighth in the Stats Perform FCS Top 25 poll, amassed a total of 528 yards of offense in their victory. St. Thomas, making their first appearance against North Dakota since 1964, finished the game with 295 yards on the ground and 128 passing yards.

Malachi Boadi-Aboagye contributed a 74-yard pick-6 in the first half, while Nick Peipert threw a 27-yard touchdown to Patrick Wagner. The Tommies struggled with an interception by Dixon, which set the stage for the Fighting Hawks' commanding victory.
