Game balls for SW Florida high school football top Week 3 performers

Southwest Florida's high school football season's Week 3 saw several standout performances.

Anthony Abin from Marco Island led the pack with his impressive performance, rushing for 162 yards and three touchdowns in Marco's victory over Gateway Charter. Paytrell Coleman from Ida Baker was also recognized, contributing a significant 100-plus yards and two touchdowns in the Bulldogs' win against IMG State.

Arthur Gallishaw from South Fort Myers was another notable performer, rushing for 186 yards and scoring a touchdown in the Wolfpack's 28-7 win over Gulf Coast. Dunbar's senior, Fred Jackson, contributed significantly with a touchdown, seven receptions for 88 yards, and a 52-yard punt return for another score in the Tigers' 26-20 loss to Cape Coral.

Immokalee's Marshon Jackson was outstanding with three receptions for 141 yards and two touchdowns, along with a 58-yard rushing score in the Indians' 46-14 win over Barron Collier. Anthony Mendes and Kayden Palmer from Fort Myers were instrumental in the Green Wave's 40-0 win over Cypress Lake, with Mendes passing for five touchdowns and Palmer amassing 133 receiving yards.

Marshawn Mack from Mariner was recognized for his 20-yard rushing touchdown and a catch in the Tritons' 20-14 win over North Fort Myers. Nehemiah Miranda from Cape Coral, playing as a safety, had an interception and a fumble recovery in the Seahawks' 26-20 win over Dunbar. Cape Coral's TJ Schley made a significant impact as a wide receiver, catching four passes for 138 yards and scoring two touchdowns in the Seahawks' 26-20 victory over Dunbar.

Other notable performances included Maddox Stewart and Hudson King from Estero, who passed for 288 yards and six touchdowns, with both players scoring three times each, in Estero's 42-12 win over Lehigh. Lorenzo's SWFL Week 3 results highlighted a variety of outstanding performances throughout the week.
