Cody Gakpo, in particular, has benefited from Iraola's tactical changes, often operating closer to midfield and demonstrating his skill in both defense and attack. Both of Gakpo's assists in the match came from deep picks up, following turnovers, indicating Iraola has struck a balance between defense and offense. Cody Gakpo's return to form, along with recent signing Bradley Barcola, may inject more energy into the team.

Alexander Isak's brace also marked a significant improvement, as he scored two goals after approximately 1/5th of his appearances last season. The goals were not flashy, but they demonstrated that Liverpool's expensive signing is now performing as expected. It is promising to see Isak finish moves so effectively, as he was a key asset last season.

However, the rotation strategy for Iraola remains a question mark. While he prefers Victor Muñoz on the right wing, the team has also used Jeremie Frimpong and Cody Gakpo in that position. The manager's approach to balancing minutes and developing young players like Muñoz and Ngumoha is worth watching.
