'Enough fighting,' Sanusi tells off 'stubborn' Perlis PN leaders

Kota Baru: Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Noor, who serves as Pas election director, has cautioned Perlis Perikatan Nasional leaders to cease arguing and prevent the recurrence of conflicts that have plagued the coalition in the state in the past. Sanusi had previously delivered the same warning, but it seems the internal strife has only intensified.

He admonished the people of Perlis not to quarrel, yet they chose to continue their disputes, and he declared that is now sufficient. You are all obstinate, and have heeded the advice not to engage in such behavior, he stated. Moving forward, there will be no more fighting, he declared as he concluded the debate on the Pas president's policy speech at the 72nd Pas Muktamar in Kota Baru.

It was earlier reported that the Perlis Pas Youth wing had called for stern measures against Perlis Menteri Besar Abu Bakar Hamzah, who allegedly tarnishes the image of both PN and Pas in the state. Ali Nami Ahmad Azizi, a delegate, asserted that the issue should be addressed seriously since Perlis is under PN administration while being governed by a Pas assembly, and Pas assemblymen were being treated as opposition representatives.
