Davido’s associate, Ego ‘Tiny’ dies after penis enlargement procedure in Thailand

Davido's associate, Igho "Tiny" Ubiribo, also known as Ego, passed away due to complications arising from a penis enlargement procedure in Thailand. The procedure took place at an undisclosed clinic in March 2026 during his luxurious vacation with his wife, Danielle Simba Allen, in Thailand. According to TMZ, Ego received 40 millilitres of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine injected into his penis.

After the procedure, the 43-year-old was with his wife at a Marriott hotel in Bangkok, where he experienced chest pain. He was rushed to Sukhumvit Hospital after fainting twice. Despite informing doctors about the filler injections, Ego lost consciousness before they could conduct a recommended CT scan. He was subsequently transferred to intensive care due to pulmonary embolism, a blockage of a blood vessel in the lungs.

Medics performed CPR for over 100 minutes before he sadly died in the early hours of March 6, 2026. A postmortem examination in the United Kingdom revealed cellular material in his lungs that matched the hyaluronic acid used during the procedure. Coroner Jean Harkin ruled that Ego's death was caused by a pulmonary embolism resulting from the cosmetic procedure.

Ego was known for flaunting his luxurious lifestyle on Instagram and was buried in London in a gold coffin that reportedly cost over $745,000. Davido, who expressed that Ego's death was "heavy," described the events as "not feeling real" during the funeral. His late associate's brother, Cubana Chief Priest, also paid tribute to Ego, stating that even in death, Ego's lavish lifestyle continued.
