Bulldogs surge home to stun Swans, Kangaroos continue historic run

The Western Bulldogs secured a decisive 27-point victory over the Sydney Swans, marking a significant comeback after being down by four points at three-quarter time. The swans had won their first three games, but injuries have started to affect their performance. In the second half, the Bulldogs executed a five-goal surge, with standout performance from young forward Emma McDonald who scored three goals in the final term.

Rylie Wilcox also contributed with three goals, finishing with 26 disposals, a best-on-ground performance. The Western Bulldogs, who are runners-up in the last two Bulldogs' best-and-fairest counts, displayed a game-changing day in front of goal. North Melbourne dominated St Kilda with a record-extending 31-match winning streak, winning by 92 points in a crushing 14.15 (99) to 1.1 (7) victory. North Melbourne's Tahlia Randall and Kate Shierlaw were top scorers, while midfield maestros Ash Riddell and Jasmine Garner dominated the clearances. St Kilda's sole goal-kicker was Ash Richards, who scored in the second quarter.
