4 abducted Chinese nationals rescued in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: The capital police rescued four Chinese nationals who were kidnapped for ransom, following an encounter with a group of criminals. The suspect, who was previously apprehended in connection with a case at Shalimar Police Station, confessed to the crime during interrogation. He revealed that he and his accomplices had kidnapped the four Chinese nationals from F-10/4 for ransom, after which they were taken to Bangial area and detained at a dairy farm.

The suspect informed the police that negotiations for the ransom were underway, and even offered his help in taking them to the farm. A police team was formed for the raid, and upon arrival, they cordoned off the farm. However, the suspect inside the farm opened fire at the police, causing panic and leading to retaliatory fire from the officers.

Two kidnappers guarding the captives were apprehended, and the police found the four Chinese nationals in a room within the farm, securing their safe release. The raid resulted in the arrest of four more kidnappers and the recovery of weapons from them. Unfortunately, the ringleader of the gang managed to flee the scene.
