ZCC to mark start of New Year at annual September conference

The Zion Christian Church (ZCC) is set to host thousands of its members during the annual September conference, which commenced on Thursday at its headquarters in Moria, east of Polokwane in Limpopo. The conference will conclude the following Thursday. This marks the beginning of the ZCC's New Year, according to 'Orthodox Christians'.

ZCC Spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe anticipates a large number of attendees traveling by bus. Ngoepe emphasizes strict measures will be enforced along the R71 road between Polokwane and Tzaneen, near Moria City. These measures include prohibiting private vehicles and informal trading in the vicinity of Moria. The reasoning behind these precautions is to ensure public safety and maintain order during the event, not to target small and medium enterprises (SMMEs).
