Why Group Captain Abhinandan Varthaman chose Goa after retiring from IAF
Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman has taken premature retirement from the Indian Air Force. He is now training abroad to fly ATR 72-600 turboprop aircraft. Abhinandan will reportedly operate flights for regional airline FLY91 in Goa. The airline welcomes many defense officers for their second careers. FLY91 recently ordered forty ATR 72-600 aircraft globally.
