UAE restaurants reopening in 2026, from Scalini to Tattu Dubai

UAE restaurants are set to reopen their doors in 2026, with prominent names such as Scalini and Tattu Dubai returning to their respective locations. Scalini Dubai, an Italian restaurant located in Restaurant Village at Four Seasons Resort Dubai, has reopened after undergoing renovations at its venue. The revamped establishment now boasts a Mediterranean-inspired interior, featuring ivory and navy accents, striped fabrics, and warm timber finishes.

A new veranda has been introduced, adorned with citrus trees, a white pergola, and Sicilian-inspired tiles. Chef Francesco Cortorillo has refreshed the menu, featuring dishes such as crudo di gamberi rossi di mazara, tableside beef tartare, and linguine alla nerano with fried Italian courgette, basil, and rare Provolone del Monaco cheese.

Meanwhile, Indonesian restaurant Andaliman has also returned to its new location at The Link, One&Only One Za'abeel, Dubai. After relocating from its previous poolside setting to the 24th floor of The Link, the restaurant now offers panoramic views of Dubai's skyline. Chef de cuisine Ismawan Dzabir has curated a menu showcasing flavors from the Indonesian archipelago, including beef rendang, grilled seafood over coconut-husk charcoal, and tableside presentations of spicy sambals for diners to customize their heat preference.

Additionally, a Sambal Trolley has been introduced, allowing guests to select their preferred Indonesian chili paste for an interactive dining experience.

Other UAE restaurants that are reopening or preparing to welcome diners include Hitchki Dubai, Coya Abu Dhabi, and Tattu Dubai. Hitchki, a Bollywood-inspired restaurant located in Novotel Dubai Gold District, Deira, has reopened with refreshed interiors and an updated menu that blends Indian favorites with contemporary influences.

The establishment will also introduce a shisha lounge to provide an immersive experience for patrons. Similarly, Coya Abu Dhabi, a Peruvian-Japanese-Chinese-Spanish fusion restaurant, has returned after a brief closure for enhancement works. The revamped menu combines elements from various cuisines, offering a unique dining experience for guests.

Tattu Dubai, a contemporary Asian restaurant located in Ciel Dubai Marina, is also getting set to reopen. The restaurant will occupy two of the upper floors of the world's tallest hotel, featuring its signature suspended cherry blossom tree, Black Dragon dining room, and White Dragon Sunset bar. Tattu Sky Lounge & Terrace, located on Level 81, will offer 360-degree views of Dubai Marina and the Palm.

To provide varied dining experiences, new offerings such as a weekday business lunch, daily sunset offerings at the Sky Lounge, afternoon tea, brunches, and DJ sessions are planned for later in the year.
