Tenure of TDB Chief Vigilance and Security Officer extended until January 2027, State informs Kerala High Court

The Kerala High Court has been informed by the State government that the tenure of the Chief Vigilance Officer of the Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) will extend until January 31, 2027. The Division Bench, comprising Justice V. Raja Vijayaraghavan and K.V. Jayakumar, ordered the State to prolong the service of two civil police officers who are currently supporting the Chief Vigilance and Security Officer.

Additionally, the court mandated the appointment of a sub-inspector on a deputation basis to fill a vacant position. The court emphasized the critical role of the TDB's Vigilance wing in upholding transparency and ensuring effective oversight at the Sabarimala Sannidhanam.
