Thoriq was riding a Yamaha Lagenda 110Z from Bemban towards Ayer Keroh, while Md Samsul was driving a Honda Dash 125 in the opposite direction. Initial investigations revealed that the collision happened when Md Samsul, attempting to overtake another vehicle, unexpectedly entered the opposite lane.
Both victims suffered severe head and body injuries, resulting in their untimely deaths at the accident site. Their bodies were subsequently transferred to the Forensic Department of Jasin Hospital for post-mortem examinations following identification by their relatives.
