Sindh Announces New Peoples Bus Service Route

The Sindh government has announced plans to expand public transportation across the province through the Peoples Bus Service. Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon led a Transport Department meeting to review the expansion projects, including double-decker buses, the EV taxi service, Pink Scooties, and BRT projects. Officials briefed the meeting on the new Qambar Shahdadkot-Larkana route, where the Peoples Bus Service is expected to commence soon, with buses already arriving in Larkana.

Authorities are working to finalize preparations for the arrival and operation of double-decker buses. During the meeting, Memon directed officials to ensure all arrangements are completed on time for the launch of bus services on new routes. The minister emphasized the government's intention to enhance transportation facilities for residents and announced that Pink Scooties will be distributed in Mirpurkhas on September 5, marking a significant step towards empowering women and improving their access to essential activities.
