‘Show keeps going downhill’: Samay Raina roasts India’s Got Latent 2 guest Varun Dhawan

Samay Raina, the host of India's Got Latent, has released Season 2, Episode 6 on Netflix. In this episode, Raina demonstrated a cautious approach to the jokes made by contestants, specifically stopping one contestant from making a reference to the Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad. The contestant, Vijay Poriya, made a joke about his fear of flying and shared a story about being on a terrace when his friend called, saying "Left side dekh."

Raina immediately understood the reference to the crash and stopped him, requesting a different answer that could be kept. Vijay then changed his response and made a joke about flight tickets being expensive.

Raina also revealed that he is not allowed to perform his show in Ahmedabad, a fact he shared following an appeal from an Ahmedabad-based contestant to his local audience to attend his live shows. Raina urged Ahmedabad authorities to allow him to perform in the city, even though his shows, including two in Ahmedabad, were cancelled in February 2025 due to controversy surrounding Ranveer Allahbadia's remarks on the show. Despite this, Raina stated that he loves performing in Gujarat.
