Shilo Sanders' creditor collapses at bankruptcy trial, taken to hospital

Shilo Sanders' former security guard, John Darjean, collapsed in court during the fourth day of bankruptcy proceedings in the $11.89 million debt case against Deion Sanders. Darjean, 50, testified for over two hours about an incident from 2015, where Sanders allegedly assaulted him at Sanders' school in Dallas. Darjean claimed the attack aggravated a previous spinal injury, causing him ongoing health issues including incontinence and nerve damage.

Sanders' attorney, Victor Vital, argued that Darjean's health problems may have existed before the 2015 incident. Darjean's lawyer, Ori Raphael, presented police and medical reports at the trial, corroborating Darjean's account of the incident. However, Sanders' attorney pointed out inconsistencies in the reports. After collapsing, Darjean was taken to the hospital by ambulance but later released. The judge released Deion Sanders from the obligation to testify on the last day of the trial.
