'Sayang, you ok?': Malaysian's last words to wife before fatal stabbing in South Korea

Nurcahaya Ruslan, the widow of a Malaysian man who was fatally stabbed while attempting to intervene in a fight in South Korea, recounted her husband's last words to her. Ahmad Shah Ahmad Ros, 26, was severely injured but managed to check on his wife before succumbing to his wounds. Nurcahaya described how their evening together, including sharing burgers and watching a movie, ended abruptly when her husband received a call from a friend who required assistance.

Despite the danger, Ahmad Shah decided to help, ultimately leading to his fatal stabbing. Nurcahaya, who was shocked by the incident, demanded to know the identity of those involved. Her husband, still alive, requested water while en route to the hospital. Tragically, Ahmad Shah passed away from his injuries. Nurcahaya expressed her sadness and trauma, particularly recalling the event at night.

The case is currently under investigation by South Korean authorities, with a Malaysian suspect in custody. Nurcahaya, who left her job in South Korea upon the incident, has returned to Malaysia but remains emotionally connected to the ongoing legal proceedings.
