Punjab CM Announces More Electric Buses for Sargodha

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced plans to add seven more electric buses to Sargodha, aiming to enhance the city's public transport options. This announcement came during a gathering with members of the Punjab Assembly representing Sargodha. The lawmakers expressed their appreciation for the electric bus initiative and also commended the swift establishment and completion of the Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cardiology in Sargodha, completed within a record timeframe.

These lawmakers noted that thousands of residents daily benefit from the electric bus service, covering routes from Bhalwal to Shahinabad, and areas including Bhera, University, DHQ, Kot Momin, and Tehsil Sahiwal.

During the meeting, Maryam addressed the lawmakers, instructing them to keep a close eye on several projects: the Model Village initiative, Suthra Punjab, and clean water projects in their respective constituencies. The session reviewed plans and suggestions to expedite ongoing development projects, while lawmakers reported positive public reactions to various initiatives.

Maryam was pleased to hear from citizens, especially children and women, who found the electric buses comfortable to travel in. She pledged that all necessary resources would be mobilized to support citizens and emphasized that development across Punjab, without any discrimination, remains a top priority for her administration.
