PTI volunteer unit to provide security to Sept 27 long march

PESHAWAR – A group of dedicated PTI supporters have formed a volunteer unit called “Pasdaran-e-Azm Imran Khan Pakistan” to assist and protect party members during the September 27 long march aimed at securing the release of PTI founder Imran Khan, according to a press conference held at Peshawar Press Club on Friday. The announcement was made by PTI leader Daniyal Khan Afridi, alongside other party members from Nowshera.

Speaking at the event, Afridi highlighted that Pasdaran-e-Azm Imran Khan Pakistan is a voluntary unit made up of ideological PTI members who will play a crucial role in aiding the participants of the march. The volunteers are committed to operating within the constitutional and legal boundaries and will not permit anyone to bypass the law.

Afridi emphasized that the volunteers will also prevent participants from engaging in any unconstitutional or unlawful activities. The group plans to provide first-aid assistance to anyone injured during potential shelling incidents and will offer their voluntary services wherever required throughout the march. Afridi called for the party leadership to supply the volunteers with protective gear, including first-aid kits, helmets, masks, shoes, and uniforms.

He also reached out to Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, urging him to encourage volunteers and provide them with the necessary equipment. Afridi mentioned that efforts are underway to recruit additional volunteers from other Khyber Pakhtunkhwa districts to broaden the unit's reach during the long march. The volunteers will work to clear any obstacles encountered along the route while strictly adhering to the law.

Following the press conference, Afridi administered an oath to the volunteers of Pasdaran-e-Azm Imran Khan Pakistan.
