Kyrgyzstan has showcased its rich nomadic heritage at the 6th World Nomad Games, held in Kyrchyn Gorge, approximately 320 kilometers from Bishkek. The event features traditional sports deeply rooted in Central Asian nomadic lifestyles, including horse-based disciplines such as Kok-Boru (Gray Wolf) and Buzkashi (Goat Grabbing). Competitors showcase generations-old skills in these events, attracting global attention.

Beyond the sporting action, the games serve as a vibrant celebration of Kyrgyz culture. Attendees are greeted with traditional clothing, crafts, music, and customs that form an integral part of the festivities. The World Nomad Games have evolved into an international stage where nomadic heritage is celebrated through sport, history, and tradition.

One highlight of the games was the eagle hunting competition. Participants, known as berkutchis, demonstrate their prowess as they engage in a thrilling encounter with golden eagles. The spectacle drew significant attention, with participants from Kyrgyzstan and the United States vying for supremacy in this ancient sport.

In addition to horse riding and eagle hunting, archery competitions were held, further highlighting the diverse range of traditional sports represented at the event.
