Pemimpin Pemuda senarai 10 sebab PAS wajar pimpin PN Selangor

Ketua Penerangan Pemuda PAS Selangor, Suffi Kamari, has outlined ten reasons why PAS is justified in leading the Perikatan Nasional (PN) in Selangor. Speaking to The Star Online, Kamari stressed the party's deep-rooted roots and experience in governance, politics, organization and struggle. He said if PN wishes to challenge the ruling Pakatan Harapan (PH) government in Selangor during the 2016 general election, it requires a more aggressive, fresh and genuinely committed leadership.

PAS's strength is not seasonal. We have diversity from various backgrounds, constituencies, Dewan Negara (Senate) and divisions that work continuously. We also have experienced leaders in administration, politics, organization and grassroots struggle. One should not imagine that no one else can lead PN Selangor, he added in a Facebook post. The PN Selangor presidency is currently vacant after Deputy Chief Minister Azmin Ali relinquished the post in January.

Kamari emphasized that PN cannot enter the 2016 election with timid leadership, and the alliance needs a leader, a direction and a goal. We don't want to always be the underdog. Our goal is clear - build strength, reassure the people and offer a new government for Selangor. We need bold leadership to be the equalizer against the PH government in Selangor.

He urged the party not to confuse the people on who the government and who the opposition are. Kamari's statement followed a call by PAS Selangor Youth Chief Sukri Omar during the party's foundational speech at a PAS muktamar in Kelantan, where he urged the party to take over the PN Selangor presidency.
