Pas won't sacrifice principles just to win, reach Putrajaya – Tuan Ibrahim

KOTA BARU: Deputy president of Pas, Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man, has stated that the party is attracting interest from various new parties who wish to collaborate. However, Tuan Ibrahim emphasized that Pas would not compromise its principles for electoral success. He added that if the sole objective was to win and attain power in Putrajaya, joining any party, regardless of its legitimacy, would be easy.

But that is not Pas's stance. They adhere to the principles set by Allah, even in political alliances. At the Pas 75th anniversary grand ceramah, Tuan Ibrahim highlighted that while Pas is preparing to assume the Federal Government administration, party strength alone is not enough. They must also scrutinize their personal conduct and practices, ensuring they do not hinder the progress of Islam. Tuan Ibrahim urged leaders of all levels to frequently reflect on their behavior.
