Lawmaker proposes state protection for wartime security officials even after they leave office
A bill registered in Ukraine’s parliament would extend state protection to members of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Staff and the National Security and Defense Council even after they leave office, if they exercised those powers during the war, according to the bill’s record on the Verkhovna Rada website dated Sept. 2.
